The Nisswa Pretty Good Foundation fund is hosted by the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation. This foundation was established for the betterment of Nisswa - a place we all know and love.

This membership based organization is an association of individuals, families, and business devoted to helping the Pequot Lakes Community! Therefore, membership is open to all who support activities and projects within our community. Annual Membership is $25 and additional dollars are welcomed! The Pohl Children's Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded by Suz Pohl, in loving memory of her children of Mearan, Bracken and Kegan.

The Nisswa Youth Scholarship Organization is a non-profit group that awards educational scholarships to purpose-driven, civic-minded youth in the Nisswa area. This organization strives to recognize involved youth and contribute to their future dreams and asperations.

The Lakes Area Music Festival is an international classical music festival featuring over 250 artists from the best professional orchestras and opera companies each summer.

The goal of Pequot Lakes Community Education is to promote ''lifelong learning''. We aim to provide programming, enrichment, and access to opportunities to community members of all ages.

GCOLA promotes the responsible use of land and water resources, supports recreational safety, strives to prevent AIS, and works to improve water quality and shoreland habitat on the Gull Lake Chain.

The Nisswa Lions Club provides help and service to the community.

We offer therapeutic horsemanship lessons and equine activities to persons who face physical, mental, social and emotional challanges. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization serving six counties.

The Outreach Program of Brainerd Lakes is a humanitarian food aid organization packing nutritiously dense meals. We distribute our meals to local area food shelves, community meal programs, etc.
